, REDEVELOPMENT OF A PLAY GROUND
COMPANY OVERVIEW
Campus East Community consists of 905 units in the New York residential area that was
built in 1985. These units are townhomes surrounding a community recreation area, which
consists of a pool, office, clubhouse, and playground area. Campus east has a Homeowners
Association that is run by eight board members who are also homeowners. These members are
volunteers, without pay, but wish the best for their community and investments. In the previous
five years the values of the homes have remained stagnant while costs of living have increased
dramatically. There has; however, been an increase in vandalism and complaints from residents
regarding other residents.
The board has chosen to make an effort to increase their property values by redeveloping
or developing portions of their community. This year the Board voted unanimously to use
approximately $450,000 of their reserve funds to redevelop the playground area.
Mission of Campus East Community Association
We the neighbors and citizens of Campus East Community aim to uphold positive values
and diversity throughout our community. We strive to foster an environment that promotes unity
among homeowners through professionalism, effective leadership and responsible citizenship.
As advocates for our community we promise to better the community we live, work, learn and
play in.
