Introduction
In this article, we will be discussing different types of networks and their
security features. We will also be exploring some popular operating systems and
their security toolkits. Additionally, we will discuss how to add a banner to your
Kali Linux terminal. Finally, we will discuss proxy servers and how they can be
used in web browsing.

Network Security
Patina and Pakkapower are different types ofnetworks
Google, Youtube, Facebook, and Twitter are examples of modern social engineering
websites that provide available information
Operating System Security Toolkits
Kali Linux contains over 600 tools for securing information
The Parrot operating system contains over 2400 auditing and exploitation tools
The BlackArch architecture has over 400 auditors and over 4000 auditable audits
available
Adding a Banner to Kali Linux Terminal
Follow the tutorial to add a banner to your Kali Linux terminal:

Open a new terminal
Change your name and save the file
The banner will now appear in your terminal
Proxy Servers and Web Browsing
Proxy servers can be used for web browsing by connecting to the localhost API
tracing omega 4 port number 8088.

The server can then intercept and monitor requests made by browsers and provide
responses with additional information from databases.

Protecting Against XSS Vulnerabilities
A drop-down box may be vulnerable to XSS attacks. To prevent script integration or
reference on the script on the disable pointer to M, the developer has tried to add
a simple pattern matching to remove any reference to script to disable any
JavaScript. The usage of right-click is blocked in this page. Click here to read

Cracking WEP Passwords with Aircrack-ng
WEP security algorithm uses stream cipher Rc4 for confidentiality and the CRC 32
checksum for integrating. WEP uses a 40-bit key to integrate. WEP is Wired
Equivalent Privacy and it was concatenated with a 24-bit initialization vector. The
Rsync key is concatenated with the initialization vector to form the Rsync and
CRC32 checksum. The password is concatenated. RJ is concatenation. It uses a 30-bit
Rsync. It provides a two-byte code. A four-word Rjundundant. The password can be
used to create an eight-byte code.

To protect against WEP password cracking, we need to convert our wireless adapter
into a monitored mode wireless adapter. Not all the wireless adapters support the
monitor mode. We're going to capture the traffic by monitoring the interface Wlan
zero month. We'll then paste the BSSID of the targeted network and the channel
number of the device that are connected. We are going to send dummy packets using
the software air replay. We will capture packets from a device already connected to
that wireless device. We're going on to capture Wlan 0 1 in this thing we are going
on the network. We will send dummy packets by sending them using the air replays
using the program air replay. We'll also use the software that air replay and we'll
then use the command arrow dump to capture our own packets.

Steps to Cracking WEP Passwords:
Type airmon-ng start wlan0
Type airodump-ng wlan0mon
