WOUND
A wound is defined as a cut or break in any tissue's continuity.
WOUND CLASSIFICATION
According to the reasons, and whether or not microorganisms are present, wound
s can be classified.
1. Wounds may be categorized as follows depending on the cause:
Wounds, both open and closed
Open wounds:
A cut or break in the continuity of the skin or mucous membrane constitut
es an open wound. This could be brought on by a strong strike or object.
An open wound enables the introduction of microbes as well as the loss of

Concealed or closed wounds:
