If my manager was having a hard time understanding how SQL works and what my queries have found, I would set a time to meet my manager one on one to explain to them how it works. During the meeting, I would want to gauge their understanding on what they know about SQL, what they would like to know about SQL, and what they have a hard time understanding. Then I would start at the basics of SQL, showing them how run simply queries on SQL, explaining how simply queries work and what kind of information can be pulled from the data. After explaining this to them, I would ask if they had any questions that have yet to be answered. Finally, I could show them the queries I had run to find the information stated before that they had a hard time understanding. Allowing them to understand where I retrieved the data from and how my work used the data.
