Question 2c

Maximum and minimum

As there no specified ranges so we must add nπ to the different turning points. We need to
substitute n for the time ranges which are 1, 2, 3, 4

N = 1t = 1.571 8.99 which mean this is a minimum turning point.

N = 2t = 2.618 -8.99 which mean this is a maximum turning point

N = 3t = 3.6652 8.99 which mean this is a minimum turning point.

N = 4t = 4.7123 -8.99 2hich means this is a maximum turning point.

Comparison.

The results that I have achieved with graph and the calculations that some of the point on the graph
that I’ve labelled maximum and minimum turning points. For example, the turning point at 4 second
on the graph is labelled minimum but when I done the calculations for the turning point at 4 second
that in fact it is a maximum turning point. For another example, turning point at 1s is maximum on
the graph but matter of fact when calculating it the turning point with the formula the turning point
is a minimum turning point.
