Prior Learning – Not a lot experience in the sport, maybe a few of the students may have played
before.
Aims and Objectives – The first session will be focussing on the basics of hockey (passing, dribbling &
shooting) . These are key things you will need to be able to play hockey at a good standard. The
session objectives is to successfully
Health & Safety - Before I deliver this session I will need to do a risk assessment as there are plenty
of risks for example the ball hitting someone in the head. The risk will be higher as the students have
no experience in hockey. My risk assessment is show in figure 2.
Facilities & Equipment – I needed hockey sticks and hockey balls.
Assessment – After an assessment I found out the children had no experience at all.
