Pediatric or childhood obesity is one of the most prevalent nutritional disorder among children and adolescents and it affect more than 14.4 million children and adolescents’ country wide (Van Grouw & Volpe, 2017). Childhood obesity is a serious health issue in the country which has put children and adolescents at risk of poor health which makes the topic an interest to me as a healthcare provider. According to the World Health Organization (WHO) growth standards, a child less than two years is considered obese if the weight for recumbent length is less or equal to 97.7th percentile
