Muscat Sports & Recreation Club is a multisport club located in Al Ghubra, Muscat that is
the heart of city. It’s the most vulnerable location as there are no other multi-sporting
complex situated in and around this area except a government sporting complex named
Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex no doubt it is flourished with equipment’s but lacks adequate
coaches and its limitations are they do not entertain tennis, basketball and other prominent
games; on the other hand Muscat Sports & Recreation Club concentrates on each and every
sport including the fitness centre with relevant coaches for each sport. The spotlight of
Muscat Sports & Recreation Club is to reinforce overall fitness to its customers in a hygienic
environment. The current business proposal desires to determine the opportunities of our
business and further a medium of growing the essential investments required for unfastening
this business.

1.2 Marketing Products and Services

Muscat Sports & Recreation Club aims to furnish the club with both indoor and outdoor
games viz. football pitches, indoor basketball and tennis courts, an outdoor swimming pool,
an indoor swimming pool for women, a gym, a multi-purpose hall, a robust restaurant, and
café, last but not the least round the clock and throughout the year training. Which maintains
with well-equipped instruments, professional staff, experienced coaches, and a community
aura for both players and spectators. These services are exceptionally of high quality and
rectitude of programs thus inculcating a healthy life style for its end-users.

1.3 Marketing vision and the Market

Muscat Sports & Recreation Club has a target marketing vision is to concentrate and entertain
population residing in and around Muscat and people of all age groups to participate
efficiently and utilise the resources which are exceptionally affordable.

Of late, there is a great awareness towards fitness and sports activities associated with it. It is
a rare out of rare combination to get both indoor and outdoor sports under a single roof; and
due to this versatility, the predicted anticipation is to have a tremendous growth of the
organisation.

The fitness centres, health clubs and the gyms are not considered to be the competitors for
Muscat Sports & Recreation Club; because the speculation is restricted to certain level of
activities whereas the predominant feature of the proposed system is combination of all the
three and the paramount feature is the indoor and outdoor courts in their own premises with
all the hygiene aspects are taken care; which is lacking in sports clubs. Hence, these services
are contributing towards competitive advantages to our business.

1.5 Execution

The routine operation of Muscat Sports & Recreation Club will be multitasking by providing
coaching to various sport activities in a healthy and sportive environment. In a layout of
12,000 square meter of land with decent number of divisions, an administrative desk,
furnished with sufficient washrooms and bathrooms.

Most competitive trained staff is recruited with specialty in their respective fields, which
includes physical trainers, personal trainers, marketing team, maintenance staff and a panel of
management members.

1.6 Company Ownership and Financial Requirements

The Muscat Sports and Recreation Club will be Limited Liability Company that will be
privately owned. A well-constructed plot has assigned for a long-term lease of 20 years,
which is owned by one of the directors Mr. Haider Ibrahim Al lawati. The total investment
amount for this entire project fall under 1.5 Million-Rial Omani. The investment share is
depicted in the table below. (Table No. 1 – Partners / MD)
