GOV. BUDGET is an Annual statement showing itemwise Estimates of reciets and expenditures during the What is government budget
fiscal year (1April - 31March)
FEB 1 , Budget is presented infront of the parliament for getting its approval.
➢ BUDGET UNFOLDS :
1. Financial performance of last year
2. Financial performance of nest fiscal year
➢ Focus is largely placed on other part of the budget which describes PLANS AND PROGRAMMES FOR
NEST FINANCIAL YEAR .
➢ These plans and programes presented are known as BUDGETORY PLANS OR FISCAL PLANS
IT has 2 aspects :
1. REVENUE ASPECTS : Budgetory policy reveals estimated reciepts .
2. EXPENDITURE ASPECTS : It reveals the expected expenditures .
By managing budgetory revenue and expenditure government tries to achieve GROWTH WITH STABILITY
CONCLUSION
