Turmoil can be described as a state of great disturbance, confusion, or uncertainty. The poet reveals turmoil trough out the poem. “His Mother, when he told his name, scarce knew her long-lost son”, the poet was so tormented and in turmoil to see a mother call out her son’s name and the son does not even know his own name.
