JEREMY PARFITT PATHOLOGY, LHSC, UNIVERSITY CAMPUS OBJECTIVES:  From a knowledge of the normal structure and function of the gastrointestinal tract, the student will be able to explain the basic pathological processes illustrated in the diseases discussed in class.  From knowledge of these pathological processes, the student will be able to deduce the signs and symptoms, complications, and possible consequences of these diseases.
