The name of the company is Everyone’s Food Basket (EFB) and it focuses mainly on retail fast
food. EFB is owned and operated by seven partners who own shares in the business. The
business is located at First Street Arch, Rose Hall Town, Corentyne, Berbice in the country of
Guyana. Rose hall Town is a busy area and it is being targeted because of the vast population,
foreigners visiting the area, places of interest and excellent water and electricity facilities.
A wide variety of dishes is prepared however chips, fried chicken, hot dog and barbeque chicken
are amongst the main dishes served. The dishes prepared are of high demand in the area.
The main objectives in this business are to provide excellent customer satisfaction by being the
leading entrepreneur in the market for food industry, in addition to being a profitable business in
this industry which produces high-quality products.
Additionally EBB creates a relaxing atmosphere that no other place creates in Rose Hall. EFB
has a dining area at the back where there is a well kept, green and fresh lawn along with flower
plants and roses. This environment generates a comfortable area for any persons who want to eat
at Everyone’s Food Basket. There are different size of benabs for eating the meal, for example,
family sized benabs, couples, or even for one person. EFB caters for the needs of all customers in
which the competitors fail to do.
The main reason on why we choose to involve in food industry is because, in present day, human
life style improve day by day together with the economic condition, this also include on how
they improve their food style, where they want the best quality of food with convenient price
and that is why we come with our product to utilize and fulfill their desire with better services.
A research was done by the marketing team of EFB in Rose Hall Town and the results
spontaneously show that Chips and Chicken is a fast food that is of high demand because it is a
very exceptional food. EFB provides quality of excellence when providing Chips and Chicken
and other dishes. Chips and Chicken is the main food targeted and it can either be spicy or non-
spicy depending on the taste of the consumer. The barbeque is also prepared in different ways as
EFB caters for customers of all age and taste. In addition, these foods also have difference in
term of taste and the colour.
The president/CEO of EFB is Tameshwar Samaroo who owns 40% of the shares in the business
which is the most shares owned by any partners in this business. In the management team, we
have several other mangers with each assigned to their specific duties, they are: planning
manager, product manager, operational manager, marketing manager, human resource manager
and financial manager. Each one in our group possesses this post to make sure our business will
work smoothly and efficiently. Apart from the mangers, EFB has decided to hire fifteen skilled
workers for different and various tasks. In conclusion, everyone in our team will be working
together in order to make sure our business plan is a successful plan.
