Now that we've arrived, let's get started. First, we need to install our WordPress theme, which
is our website template. To do so, go to Appearance on the left and then click on Themes.
After that, click on the "View My Site" button which will take you to your WordPress site. As
you notice, what is displayed is a blank template put on automatically.
The theme we will be using today is called Fairy. To install this theme, click on the "Install a
new theme" button above. This will only change the layout of your website, not the content.
Feel free to test out different themes and switch back to your original theme at any time.
We will now show you how to add a menu section to your website. Go back to the dashboard
and fill in all the necessary information. Once you have done that, scroll down and click on
the "Save Changes" button. You can add new categories by clicking the "Add New Category"
button. This will automatically save them to the categories.
If you have added four or five categories, you do not need to click save. Simply click "Add
New Category" for each one. You can select the drop-down menu to view all the categories
you have created. Choose which categories you want to display on your home page.
You will notice that if you bring a category down and to the right, it becomes a sub-item of
the category it is under. For example, if you set "gluten-free" as a sub-item of a category, it
will appear indented under that main category on your website.
