To encourage children's creativity and imagination, as well as their fine motor skills and knowledge
of animals.

To develop children's expressive arts and design skills by creating a collage using different materials
and techniques

To develop children's understanding of the world by learning about different animals and their

circumstances:
The activity is suitable for children who are in the kinder stage of development (40 –
60months or 4-5 years), as they are able to use scissors, glue and other materials safely and
with some control. They are also able to express their ideas and preferences through their
collage. The activity is based on the children's interest in animals and their curiosity about
the natural world.
The activity can be adapted to meet the individual needs and circumstances of the children
by providing different levels of support, challenge and choice.
