, WHAT IS A DISPUTE?
▪ To dispute is defined as to question the truth of something o
fight for the lead. An example of dispute is when you quest
whether a claim is true.
▪ “A conflict or controversy; conflict of claims or rights;
assertion of right, claim, or demand on one side, met by cont
claims or allegations on the other” –West’s Encyclopedia
America Law, edition 2
▪ It is a misunderstanding between two parties, either contrac
or non- contractual.
▪ Dispute is unable to eliminate because the nature of
construction is full risk. (Thomas 1995)
