Some
We use some when the sentence is affirmative (= bevestigend) or when you expect the answer to a
question to be yes.
I can bring some peaches from the store.
Can you give me some strawberries please?
Any
We use any when it means one or another – it isn’t important which.
Bring any drink you like.
Some and any
Some and any can both be combined with -body, -one, -thing and -where.
I left the box somewhere in the kitchen. / I can’t find anybody to help me.

Degrees of comparison
Form short words
To form the comparative, we add +er to the adjective. To form the superlative, we add +est to the
adjective and before the adjective, we add ‘the’.
