Demonstrative pronouns
This, these, that and those
We use this (singular) and these (plural) when we talk about something nearby.
We use that (singular) and those (plural) when we talk about something far away.
One and ones
You can add one (singular) or ones (plural) when the noun is understood from the context.
Can you see that ghost over there? -> Yes, and I can see this one here as well!

Present simple
We use this tense to talk about routines, general truths, permanent situations and a sequence of
actions going on now.
Present continuous
We use this tense to talk about long actions going on right now and for temporary situations.
Past simple
We use this tense to talk about actions that clearly took place in the past.
Past continuous
We use this tense to talk about long actions going on in the past and to talk about long actions going
on when something else happened.
