,I. INTRODUCTION
Group theory is a branch of
mathematics that studies the
properties and structures of groups. A
group is a set of elements combined
with an operation that satisfies certain
axioms. These axioms include closure,
associativity, identity element, and
inverse element. Group theory has
applications in various fields, including
physics, chemistry, computer science,
and cryptography.

, II. DEFINITIONS
In this section, key definitions related
to groups are introduced. This includes
defining a group, subgroup, cyclic
group, and other fundamental
concepts. For example, a group is a set
G with a binary operation * such that it
satisfies closure (if a, b belong to G,
then a * b also belongs to G),
associativity (a * (b * c) = (a * b) * c),
identity element (there exists an
element e in G such that a * e = e * a
= a for all a in G), and inverse element
(for every element a in G, there exists
an element b in G such that a * b = b *
a = e, where e is the identity element).
