Bij evidence based practice EBP gaat het om klinische beslissingen op basis van het
best beschikbare bewijs, in combinatie met de kennis en ervaring van de paramedicus
/ verpleegkundige en de waarden & voorkeuren van de individuele patiënt.

Probleem benaderen: de hulpvraag van de patiënt is het uitgangspunt bij het paramedisch
handelen.
In elke klinische situatie zijn er verschillende probleemoplossende benaderingen of attitudes
mogelijk:
 Gissen en missen (Trial and error)
 Traditie (Tradition based)
 Intuïtie (Confidence based)
 Ervaring (Experience based)
 Gehoorzaamheid (Obedience based)




Als je naar literatuur gaat zoeken moet je kritisch kunnen lezen.
