Linkers of reason:
★ due to + noun(sustantivo)
+ gerund(verb+ing)
+ the fact that + clause (subj and verb)
Example:
A lot of her unhappiness is due to boredom (noun)
A lot of her unhappiness is due to being bored (gerund)
A lot of her unhappiness is due to the fact that she is bored

★ because of + noun
+gerund (verb+ing)
Example:
He's been dropped from the team because of injury (noun)
He's been dropped from the team because of being injured (gerund)

★ Since/because + clause (subj + verb)

the bus was delayed due to/because of heavy snow
the bus was delayed since/because there was heavy snow

Linkers of concession:
★ Although/though + clause= despite the fact that ( a pesar del
hecho que)

Example:
She walked home by herself, although/though she knew that it was
dangerous

★ Altought/tought + clause= but
Example:
She'll be coming tonight, although/though I don´t know exactly when.

★ Though (at the end of the sentence)
Example:
The house isn´t nice. I like the garden tought
★ Even tough= although
