Computer Will Soon Replace the Book
Today, technology is one of the most essential tool in
our lives. Without these i-pads, i-pods, computers, laptops we are all imbeciles. Technology plays a vital role in
our lives till some extent, but when we exceed that limit technology puts us in jeopardy. I say technology puts
us in jeopardy as today our minds are limited to a certain degree. If we juxtapose the time now and the time a
century ago, I personally feel the people a century ago had sharper brains. People think that it is all hearsay
that technology can harm us but even Einstein fears the day when technology will surpass human interaction.
And I think that day is not too far. There would be a day in this world where computer will replace books, where
all of us will be a lackey to technology.
I feel in another span of 15-20 years towards the future we will not carry
books in our bags but laptops for each subject. When heard first, it sounds a bit appealing. But being on a
laptop for 8-10 hours in a day will surely strain our eyes and there would be a world of blinds. I refer to blind not
for those people who cannot see but for those cannot see what a blunder they are doing by spoiling their own
selves, by spoiling their own future.
Now this is the time to wake up and not let our future keel over. We should reduce the usage of technology and
increase human interaction, so that we do not lead to a generation of idiots as Einstein puts it and we do not
see a day where laptops take the place of books. Believe me, with immoderate usage of technology we will all
end up in a hovel pleading for our own lives.
