, Introduction


The main focus of this assignment is community work as an intervention process.
Community work is about working with people and communities, where the role of
the social worker is to facilitate a participatory process and to promote project
facilitation. The practice of community work or macro social work involves efforts to
help clients by intervening in large systems. This assignment is about theories,
approaches, techniques and intervention models in community work within varying
contexts.
