Course Description and Prerequisites
NURS 3307 Special topics in Nursing; Transition to NCLEX-RN Success (3-0)
This course presents contemporary issues in NCLEX-RN, philosophy, health and practices in the
nursing.
Learning Objectives/Outcomes for the Course
The students upon completion of the course will have the following outcomes and competencies;
1. Develop and articulate their personal nursing philosophy.
2. Develop a personal health plan congruent with National Health Initiative Healthy People
20/20.
3. Articulate Contemporary Nursing Issues; National and Global.
4. Demonstrate NCLEX-RN readiness through a series of NCLEX-RN assessments
Course Grading Policies

A=90-100
B=80-89
