strategy. Grouping students based on their abilities and learning styles allows for targeted
instruction and support. Developing individualized learning plans for students with special needs
or learning difficulties provides specific accommodations and modifications to support their
learning.

Integrating assistive technology and resources in the classroom can also help create an inclusive
learning environment (Messiou, 2017). Providing audio and visual aids caters to diverse learning
styles and enhances understanding. Multimedia resources such as videos, audio recordings, and
visual aids can be utilized. Assistive devices play a significant role as well. Ensuring the
availability of assistive devices, such as text-to-speech software or adapted materials, supports
students with specific needs. Additionally, arranging the classroom in an accessible manner is
crucial. Creating an environment that is physically accessible for students with disabilities
ensures their easy movement and full participation.

Building strong partnerships with parents and guardians is another essential aspect of fostering
inclusivity in the foundation phase classroom (Byrne, 2022). Communicating regularly with
parents and involving them in their child's learning journey helps create a supportive and
inclusive community. By understanding each child's unique needs, strengths, and challenges,
collaborative efforts can be made easier.
