, WHAT ARE NUCLEAR WEAPONS?
Nuclear Weapons are the type of explosive device that derives its destructive
power from nuclear reactions, either through the fission (splitting) or fusion
(joining) of atomic nuclei. Nuclear weapons are considered to be the most
powerful weapons ever created, capable of causing widespread destruction
and devastation.
There are two main types of nuclear weapons:
1. Atomic Bombs
Atomic bombs, also known as fission bombs, rely on the fission
of uranium or plutonium to release energy and create a massive
explosion.

2. Hydrogen Bombs
Hydrogen bombs, also known as thermonuclear bombs, use a
fission bomb to trigger a fusion reaction between isotopes of
hydrogen, creating an even more powerful explosion.
