Cervix: lowest part of the uterus, which connects the vagina to theuterus. 4. Menstrual Cycle: a monthly series of changes that involve ovulation and menstruation. a. Ovulation: the release of a mature ovum form one of the two ovaries. b. Menstruation: a part of the cycle in which the unfertilized egg and thelining of the uterus leave the body in a menstrual flow.
