• A transmission lines convey electromagnetic waves
• A pair of parallel wires and coaxial cables are the com
employed transmission lines
• It is used to connect transmitter and it’s antenna, antenn
receiver etc..
• Short sections of transmission lines can be used as
elements like inductors,capacitors,filters,resonant circuits
• Two parallel conductors for a two-wire or two-con
transmission line
