The study of God.
What can St. John Paul II's Theology of the Body teach us?
It can teach us the meaning of theology of the body and it helps explore the meanings
of the bodies and our bodies exual desires. It also helps us learn about out identity.
What does John Paul II man by the "sacramentality of the body"?
A study of God, the purpose of our existence, and the call to love like God loves.
Why did God create us?
God created us to love and to be in an image and likeness of him and have
extraordinary dignity. We are also created to be in union with God.
Why is the Trinity important when discussing love as "communion"?
The unity of Adam and Eve was an image of the communion of persons found in the
Holy Trinity.

Naked without shame is nakedness that exists within the context of innocence and pure
freedom, apart from lust.

They didn't follow what God said and chose their own will over the will of God's plan.

Love as attraction, love as desire, love as goodwill, and spousal love.
What is lust?
Sexual Desire apart from God's love.
What is chastity?
The virtue that frees us from the selfish attitude of using others, thus making us capable
of love.
What is utilitarianism and why is it so destructive for a relationship? (on test)
A maximizing of pleasure and a minimizing of pain, often at the expense of others. One
can be end up using a person for their own gain. It destroys relationships because love
can never be built on selfishness.
