Subject + verb
a- Simple verb
Example : to want ; to sleep ; to sell…..
I want ; he wants

b- Verbs end in « -y »
Vowel + y : y / ys ( third person singular )
Example : To play ; to buy…..
I play ; He plays
Consonant + y : y / ies
Example : To copy ; to fly…..
I fly ; he flies ….
c- Verb end in « ss » ; « sh » ; « ch » ; « o »…..
He ; she ; it + verb + es
Example : To pass he passes
To brush she brushes

1-1-2- The Present Continuous / Progressive Tense
Subject + am / is / are / + verb + ing
Example : I Am working
1-1-3- The Present Perfect Tense
Subject + has / have + Past Participle
She has passed her exam
1-1-4- The Present Perfect Continuous Tense
Subject + has / have + been + verb + ing
Example : He has been eating
1-2- The Past Tense
