Password Protection
He can set it up by going on the start menu and then clicking on
computer and then desktop on the top left hand corner then click
on the control panel file. Then click on user profile and then it will
say to add a password to the certain user profile and click on the
user and add the password.
He will need a password protection because there are many people who might want to
take a peek into your personal life. If these people know you well, they might be able to
guess your e-mail password and use password recovery options to access your other
accounts.
It will help protect his computer form someone who wants to access your files, take some
important files or documents and information from you but they won’t be able to as you
have a password to protect your files.
Password types
To have a strong password you at least need eight characters long.
It should not contain your user name, real name, or company name or a complete word.
It has to have a different password from your other pervious passwords and it should at
least contains characters from each of the following four categories
Uppercase Lowercase letters Numbers Symbols found on the
letters keyboard (all keyboard
characters not defined as
letters or numerals) and
spaces
A, B, C a, b, c 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, `~!@#$%^&*()_-
