EMERGENCY TROLEY MANAGEMENT AND USE
Understanding
Emergency Trolley is a set of trays/drawers/racks on wheels used in hospitals (in the ER
and operating rooms) as a place to store medical equipment/equipment, emergency
medicines for life support protocols to save patients' lives.
Objective
1. To provide immediate access to supplies of medicines and medical devices in
emergency situations/ facilitate the coordination of emergency equipment
2. Save valuable time in an emergency
Emergency Trolley Maintenance ( min once a month)
1. Checking or checking the expiration date of medication or medicines
2. Throw away and replace all expired medicines and medical equipment
3. Doing an AED check, don't forget to check the expiration date of the defibrillation pads
4. Check the battery charge monitor and/or AED must be inspected and documented
5. Make sure the trolley is in place
6. Ensuring the availability of the number of drugs and medical devices
7. Ensure the cleanliness of the emergency trolley
Cart Contents Standard
1. On the trolley: defibrillator (ready to use condition and equipped with redux paste,
electrodes and paper recording resuscitation set (amu bag, gudel, oxygen hose and tongue
spatula)
2. Beside the trolley: oxygen cylinder
3. Behind the trolley: resuscitation board
