What does licensure, certification, and accreditation mean in regards to a
healthcare facility?
Licensure is required and usually by the state government.
Certification is voluntary and usually provided by a professional organization.

Facility/Retirement Center.
OTHER CARE SETTINGS
Hospice Care - support to terminally ill pt and families.
Home Health Care - provides health, social and other supporting services to individuals
in their home. Must be ordered by physician.
Ambulatory care - Health care services provided in an outpt setting. Ex. PCP,
