Paraphrasing – Today’s Highlight

E.g: I write an essay in Indonesia and then translate it to English using translator websites.
Paraphrase → giving/ talking/ writing something in different words
● Use synonyms and antonyms.
● Nominalization → nouns that are created from adjectives (words that describe nouns) or
verbs (action words). Changing the form of the word -Dua Sensei.
● Active and passive voice → changing the place of the subject and object.
E.g.:
Dua sensei is teaching the students. Active
The students are being taught by Dua sensei. Passive
● Turning complicated sentences into simple sentences, and vice versa.

The Difference Between Un- and Dis- Prefixes
Prefixes: Un, Dis, Im, Mis
