obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) Answer- A chronic disorder in which the mind is flooded with a persistent
and uncontrollable thoughts (obsessions) and the individual is compelled to repeat certain acts again and again
(compulsions)
The thoughts and behavioural urges are intrusive, unwanted, persistent and almost entirely out of the
individuals control
Obsessions Answer- Intrusive, recurring and irrational thoughts, impulses and images
Their persistence creates anxiety
Accompanied by intense feelings of fear, disgust, doubt Person realizes thoughts are irrational but can't control
