Something positive about my work this semester is that I was able to get 10/10 on most of my
reading roadmaps along with the weekly assignments. Another positive thing I can say about
my work is that on all of my tests I was able to get 90% or higher. I was present in all of the
classes and on time to learn.

1. In these weird times, knowing a bit about how our body heals and stays healthy is really
important. You did a good thing by taking Essential Biology! There is a lot of
misinformation on social media and in conversation with people who don’t read the real
science.
How can you know for sure that what you are reading is real science? It must

2. You are getting a runny nose and sore throat. You think you might have a cold. Is a cold
a bacterial or a viral disease?
A cold is a viral disease. There is no real cure for viruses, but you can ease the
symptoms by taking vitamin C, drinking hot tea, and getting enough rest.
