D2) Evaluate your experience of planning and participating in the recruitment and selection
process.
Interviewee:
I think that I have done quite well on my interview. I was well prepared for
the interview and I have done a research on the organization. As my
interviewee said, “He had looked into the operations, ethos and success of
the company”. In addition to that I was prepared and I was familiar with the
job description and job advert. My interviewee said, “He had read the job
description thoroughly and had a copy with him in the interview.
Also, I prepared answers to all question that I have been asked and my
interviewee agreed on that. However, I think that I should have prepared by
answers more structured and should have answered all question without
pausing and I should have spoken with more confidence. My interviewee
said, “Generally the interviewee was clear and focused in hit responses and
came across as fully engaged”.
In my opinion, I have particularly answered well all questions and the
majority of the time I was demonstrating excellent communication skills. My
interviewee said, “He was confident and he gave full responses to all
questions”. However, I think that I should have improved my performance of
the interview. I think that I could have answered all question more efficient
and I should have dressed differently, as it might have given a different
impression. In addition to that, my interviewee said, “His questions about
terms, conditions and remuneration could have better prepared”.
Interviewer:
I think that interviewer was well prepared and my observer said that, “In
preparation for the interview Daniil arranged the seating and positioned his
laptop, page of 10 prepared questions and pen ready”. However, I think that
I should have spent more time on Alfred’s CV, so then I could have prepared
my question better and ensure that Alfred is the right candidate.
I think that I have done particular well been calm and I have clearly
introduced my self and encouraged the the interviewee to focus only on the
questions. My observer said that, “The interviewer was calm and clear in his
introduction and in encourage the interviewee to focus on the question,
going clarification when required and encouraging further development of
responses”.
In my opinion I have maintained a good eye contact and I was
communication extremely well with the applicant. However, I think that I
should have confirmed the job position and give all detail to the applicant
about the job. My observer said that, “He could have confirmed the job
position and details at the beginning of the interview and ensured the
interviewee ended promptly”. In addition to that, I think that I could have
