SVCC’s Nursing Programs have two phases: pre-clinical phase, during which students take general education classes, attend an Info Session, and take their pre-entrance test and the clinical phase, during which students take nursing classes and practice patient care in healthcare facilities under the direction of faculty. 2. SVCC has both RN programs and LPN programs. 3. There are very few jobs for LPNs, so it is better to become an RN. 4. Commitment, regular investment of time and effective studying correlate more with nursing school success than does IQ. 5.
