, Introduction
The first part of this project is going to define the difference between the role
of a leader and the function of a manager through applying academic
research.
The second part of the project deals with applying the role of a leader and the
function of a manager in a real-life business, such as ASDA. The slow-to –
moderate changing situation and the fast-changing situation will be developed
through this chapter.
The third part of the project is going to increase the understanding on how the
total quality improvement (TQM) is applied to the business, among the Six
Sigma aspects.
The end of the project is related to the link between the role of a leader and
the function of a manager within the chosen business, ASDA. In addition to
this, it is important to know that the entire research will allow the researcher to
create recommendation for the chosen business.
