The beam with loading is given below:
Shear Force:
Shear force at the free end of the cantilever beam is zero.So,
S.F at A = 0
S.F at B (left) = -1000kg
[As the force is downwards to the left of the section, it will be negative.
To convert the U.D.L to point load, multiply the load 1000 kg/m by
the span 1m (1000 kg/m * 1m = -1000 kg)]
S.F at B (right) = -1000-1000 = -2000kg
[On the right side of the section at B, there is a U.D.L of -1000kg and a
point load at B of -1000kg. Negative sign comes because both forces
are acting downwards to the left side of the section.]
Bending Moment:
Bending moment at the free end of the cantilever beam is zero.
