on a travel surface

- Its power drive system does not require the operator to shift gears

- Every vehicle that is self-propelled, but for purposes of chapter 4 of this act motor
vehicle does not include industrial equipment such as a forklift, a fronted loader or other
construction equipment that is not subject to registration
What is an "Operate"?
- 1 or more of the following:

- Being in actual physical control of a vehicle. This subdivision applies regardless of
whether or not the person is licensed under this act as an operator or chauffeur

the public highways are terminated and shall not be renewed or restored until the later
of the following:

- Expiration of not less than 1 year after the license was revoked

- Expiration of not less than 5 years after the date of a subsequent revocation occurring
within 7 years after the date of prior revocation
