Health care economic Issue
This memo is part of my effort to influence a policy change at my place of work. The
hospital struggles to adjust to the dynamic nature of healthcare provision and consumer demand.
Improvements in medical knowledge and the spread of infectious illnesses are to blame for the
recent uptick in the number of people who need to be hospitalized. This problem threatens the
organization's financial stability. For instance, a rise in patients requires management to fill open
roles with new workers. Hospital end up incurring additional debt to meet the needs of its
expanding patient population. Patients from out in the country are flooding my organization for
help. Long wait times, postponed treatment, and increased medical mistakes are all problems that
the hospital requires assistance with (Džakula et al., 2022).
Positive and Negative Outcomes
The benefits of addressing the issue of nurse understaffing in healthcare institutions have
been the subject of several studies. Nursing deficits should be addressed to solve the growing
patient number. High turnover rate of nurses must also be reduced by enacting rules that make it
