Introduction
A positive organizational culture may help healthcare recruit and retain talented workers
and outside investors, which can boost the company's bottom line. Building a strong framework
for healthcare organizations helps them better serve and interact with their patients. A culture of
excellence and a high level of dependability determine the success of a healthcare system.
Having a positive outlook on change and progress and rewarding and promoting employees may
help an organization foster a healthy corporate culture (Yoo et al., 2019). This paper will discuss
why healthcare facilities must have a high dependability rate. An organization's leadership style
and the extent to which its purpose, vision, and value statement encourage a culture of excellence
and high reliability will also be evaluated.
High Reliability in Healthcare Organizations
The field of high-reliability science aims to reduce accidents and boost security in high-
risk sectors. Organizations with a history of success in complicated and dangerous settings are
considered high-reliability. A healthcare system that can be counted on to provide excellent
treatment also needs a solid organizational framework that can be relied on to provide results.
The healthcare system has used many mechanisms to enhance service delivery and meet the
needs of its patrons. High dependability also gives healthcare workers more autonomy since they
can focus on doing their jobs without interference from the system. The elements of an
organization that contribute to a culture of excellence are openness to change and the promotion
of employee well-being (Herlitz et al., 2020). When an organization has a consistent culture of
excellence, it can provide better patient care.
