SV AP H12 Burnout, Boredom and Engagement in the Workplace

A Brief History
mentale spanning veroorzaken.
Vanaf 1970 is burnout geformuleerd; mentale uitputting.
Work engagement; tegenovergestelde van burnout, mentale energie.

Defining and Assessing Burnout, Boredom and Engagement
Burnout
Eerste definitie bestond uit 3 dimensies;
1. Emotionele uitputting door interpersoonlijke eisen
2. Depersonalisatie; cynische attituden jegens recipients
3. Lack of personal accomplishment

Dus:
1. Exhaustion, losstaand van welke oorzaak dan ook
2. Cynicism, afwezige attitude jegens werk ipv alleen andere mensen
3. Lack of professional efficacy

Boredom
Feeling worn out. 2 benaderingen
1. Uitvoeren van monotone en herhaalde taken
specifiek genoeg.
Dus Mikulas; unpleasant state of relatively low arousal and dissatisfaction which is attributed
to an inadequately stimulating work situation.
