3. P Wave Normal
4. PR Interval 0.12 – 0.20

5. QRS Complex < 0.10
0.06 – 0.10
6. ST Segment Isoelectric
7. T Wave Upright
8. Clinical Associations May be a normal rhythm in aerobically trained athletes and other
individuals during sleep.
Disease states associated :
• Hypothyroidism
• Increased intracranial pressure
• Obstructive jaundice
• Inferior wall MI
9. Clinical Significance Depends on how the patient tolerates it.
Signs & symptoms can include:
• Pale
• Cool skin
• Hypotension
• Weakness
• Angina
• Dizziness or syncope
• Confusion or disorientation
• SOB
10. Treatment • Atropine (anticholinergic) – for patient with symptoms
• Pacing may be required
