Code §§ 48-801 et al); - The strength, dosage, and quantity of the drug dispensed; - The directions for use and cautionary statements, if any, contained in the prescription or required by law; - The serial number of the prescription or prescription number; and - The expiration date of the product according to the manufacturer or one (1) year from the date the drug or medical device is dispensed, whichever comes first, subject to the discretion of the pharmacist to select an earlier date on which the life of a compounded drug product may expire. -If a prescription order is for a controlled substance, the label shall also include a clear, concise warning that it is a crime to transfer the drug to any person other than the patient. Exemption from child resistant container - sublingual nitroglycerin - sublingual and chewable isosorbide dinitrate - hormonal replacement therapy( Provera) - Effervescent Aspirin - Effervescent Acetaminophen - OTC in non-complianr"easy open" container if the same product is also available in a C-R packaging. RECORDKEEPING 5 YEARS - All prescriptions orders shall be maintained for a period of five (5) years from the date of first dispensing. - a complete and accurate record of all prescription drugs and devices received, sold, compounded, dispensed, or otherwise disposed of by the pharmacy for a period of five (5) years. - A patient record shall be maintained for a period of not less than five (5) years from the date of the last entry in the profile record. This record may be a hard copy or a computerized form. - A pharmacy technician training program shall maintain records of participants for five (5) years from date of completion or termination of program. The records shall be maintained either on-site or at another location where the records are readily retrievable upon request for inspection. MISBRANDING - DISPENSING DRUGS WITHOUT THE REQUIRED PROPER INFORMATION RECORDKEEPING 2 YEARS: -(a) There shall be maintained in every pharmacy, or in the establishment or institution where a pharmacy is located, a suitable book, file, or other easily retrievable record, in which shall be preserved for a period of not less than 2 years every prescription compounded or dispensed at said pharmacy. -The original and transferred prescription(s) shall be maintained for a period of two (2) years from the date of initial filling in accordance with District of Columbia regulations. - * Records and inventories of registrants* Persons registered to manufacture, distribute, or dispense controlled substances under this chapter shall keep records and maintain inventories in co
