community through the application process for several jobs at the sports centre. I will
produce various documentation to give others an understanding of the requirements at
each stage of the process. I will also apply for a position at the sports centre based on

Job advertisement
A good job advert is important to entice possible candidates to apply for the job. A
successful job advert will get many applications due to its persuasive tone.

A typical job advert will include:
● A brief description about what the job entails
● What responsibilities you are expected to have
● What type of candidate they are looking for via person specification
● Salary and working hours.
● Information on how to get in touch with the employer.

,Good places to find possible employment within the sport sector are:

Leisure centres may have a variety of job roles including:
- Swimming instructor
- Leisure centre manager
- Sports coach
- Receptionist
- Health and safety officer

It is important that applicants read the job descriptions and person specifications
thoroughly so they apply for roles that meet their skill set and they can fulfill
successfully. I will be preparing the documentation and going through the process for
applying for a Sports Coach role at the centre as based on my skills audit in Assignment
1, I feel I could fulfill such a role competently.
