Acknowledgment
First of all, I would like to thank my entire mid-valley international teams for providing me with
such kind of service training in Qatar. Appreciating to the college for their hard efforts and for
helping me to provide good direction and good cooperation toward a bright career. I have done
my internship at the pretty popular five-star hotel named "Banyan Tree" which is located in the
middle of Musherib, Doha.
I’m also grateful to the banyan tree family and staff for their proper guidance I would like to
thank Mr. Reju Krishan (Manager) for encouraging and inspiring me to give my best effort
toward the department. He helps to tackle and overcome lots of problems by showing me the
right way. I have learned many things during my internship. Like how to interact with the guests,
how to provide well-room services during the crowded situation, and how to maintain distance
services during the pandemic period. This internship helps me enhance my skills and confidence
level.
My industrial training was wonderful. According to my acquaintance, I did my internship with
the top management group named Accor Management. I got the chance to serve many popular
football players, such as Samuel eto’s, Cuppo Motin, and else Cameroon players. My internship
was held during the FIFA world cup so it has a plus point for my upcoming job settlement.
Without the support of my department head and team members, I couldn't get the opportunity to
learn the core of the hospitality industry and never know about how the hospitality industry leads
to the tourism industry as well.

Executive Summary
I was required to complete an internship report, which I performed for six months at the Banyan
Tree Hotel. I am now writing my report based on the knowledge I obtained from that internship.
My first job in the hospitality sector since beginning my studies at the hotel management faculty
was this one. I worked in the F&B department as a room server, and overall it was a fantastic
experience for learning and face-to-face communication. This internship started on 15th
September 2023. Generally, this internship program was held for the FIFA world cup where
industrial trainees were providing the service as an employee rather than a trainee. There was a
lack of manpower in the QATAR at the FIFA time because lots of foreigners came to the doha
which cause the lack of accommodation for them so it enhance the hospitality sector. The
Banyan Tree is a five-star all-inclusive hotel in the center of Doha, the stunning capital of Qatar.
It has more than 500 rooms and can accommodate all types of events, including weddings and
business conferences, in addition to offering outdoor dining options, meeting space, restaurants,
and other social amenities.
I worked as a room server in the IRD (In-Room Dining) during my internship training, where my
tasks and accountability included serving food and beverages. However, I have gained a lot more
knowledge to demonstrate my want to study how other departments, such as the culinary and
finance departments, operate. I detailed all of my good habits and kind actions in the reports.
Overall, it was an exciting experience, and I gained a lot of knowledge from it. I am looking
forward to using this knowledge in my future employment.
