important as acids are very toxic and can cause irritaton if come into contact with, so avoid
spillaies, if however, some of the acid iets spilled clean up the arean Make sure to wash hands afer
the practcal has been carried outn Also, it is important to take care when workini with ilassware
because it can easily break and result with an injuryn If somethini does happen, make sure to seek
medical advice as soon as possiblen

2n Use a measurini cylinder to measure 5ml-10ml of water and add it into the test tube with
chromiumn
3n Str the mixture in the test tube usini the strrini rodn
4n Observe the colour chanien

6n Repeat steps 1-4 with other substances with water and also diferent solutonsn Use a
