S_BAD: Final Take Home Open Book Exam (30/03/2022)
Exam rules (read carefully):
All the materials from the course (slides, papers, chapters, videos) can be accessed
and used during this exam
Exam can be taken individually, or in couples. In case of an exam by two students,
please both submit the exam individually on Canvas.
Students taking the exam individually answer the first three questions. Students
taking the exam as a team of two answer all five questions.
You have three hours to complete the exam. Please submit the exam at the end of the
three hours. If you have been assigned extra time, you have one extra hour to fill out
the exam. If there is any technical issue with Canvas, please submit by sending an
email to .
Questions can be answered in English or Dutch.
Use your own words: exams are plagiarism checked. Unreferenced citations (i.e. no
“quote”) will result in reduced points to the answer. Extensive plagiarism (of sources,
or of the summaries) might result in failing the entire exam. No bullet points please.
Word requirements:
o When e.g. between 100 and 200 words is mentioned we tolerate from 90
to 220 words. 56 words is too short, and 250 is too long.
o When e.g. at least 150 words is mentioned we tolerate from 135. Any
longer length is possible (but watch your time!).
