Direct Democracy
• No distinction between people and the government. There is no MP
• Direct, constant and unhampered involvement in politics.
• System of self government.
• People directly vote for the law to be made, through referendums.
Advantages Disadvantages
People have to be more politically educated There may be a low turnou
as they take a role in decision making. that the vote of a few peop
